Many of you know "my story," the one that started in 2008 with my rock-bottom moment when my husband left, but you don't know THIS story.
This is the story behind it all. For the FIRST TIME EVER, I open up about my childhood, my upbringing and some of the adversity I've faced throughout my life. It's a story I've been writing in my memoir for years, but one I felt I needed to share now, here, for the very first time. Why? Because this show is all about real people sharing their stories, what they've been through and what they've overcome to get where they are now, and so I need to do that as well.
Bare with me on this, it's the first time I've ever tried to articulate any of this, so it's rough. But I hope it inspires you to go after your dreams and not stop until you've lived them because if I can do it, anyone can. I am a chick on a mission to PROVE that anything is possible for ANYONE.
If you found value in today's show we ask you to kindly share the love by: sharing it, telling your friends, commenting, SUBSCRIBING to the podcast, and leaving a review. Thank you!

While my childhood was way more conventional than yours, I can definitely relate. I grew up here in Alaska around people living similar lifestyles. The bush life is something I experienced (and still experience) in snapshots. My parents have lived remotely. Some of my current relatives by marriage have been homeless. They came
